About the Nally Award
The Greater Boston Food Bank established the Nally Award in honor of Dan and Betsy to recognize other outstanding young volunteers in eastern Massachusetts. The Nally Award celebrates young people who are taking action against hunger. In 2005 the award went to Healthy Bones, a group of Framingham, Mass., schoolchildren who collect food every month from their neighbors and donate it to their local food pantry. Dan and Betsy Nally presented the group with the award at The Food Bank’s annual Partner Appreciation Luncheon in October 2005.
